Commissions of Inquiry as Tools of Causal Discovery

Commissions of inquiry are temporary organizations set up by the government to write a report on an issue of public interest. The research leading to the report involves an open call for public participation. This research project empirically studies commissions of inquiry in order to more accurately evaluate their epistemic potential.
